NorthernKnives and some accessories are produced in limited editions of around 500 pieces. Once these are sold out, there are two possibilities:
- The product is permanently sold out as it was a limited edition.
- Our blacksmiths are forging new editions, and your product may be available again in a few weeks, depending on production rates and demand.
Note: We recommend not waiting until a product is nearly sold out to make your purchase. Our items can take several weeks to produce, and some may never be forged again to maintain the exclusivity of our limited collections. To stay updated on new editions and restocks, consider subscribing to our newsletter.
Accessories
Yes, it’s important to sharpen your knives regularly to maintain their performance. Even the toughest NorthernKnife blades will lose their sharpness over time. To preserve their cutting ability, use appropriate sharpening materials.
Unlike ceramic knives, which often need to be discarded when dulled, our steel-bladed knives can be sharpened whenever necessary. With proper care, you can keep your knives sharp and effective for a lifetime.
Absolutely! Our 4-in-1 Sharpener is designed for simplicity, making it easy for even novice users to sharpen their knives in seconds.
Just follow these steps:
- Insert the blade into the first slit and make a few back-and-forth movements.
- Move to the second slit and repeat.
- Finish with the third slit for a perfectly sharp knife.
With this straightforward process, you'll have your knives ready for action in no time!
You don't need to spend hours on maintenance! Simply make five to ten passes on each side of the blade to restore your knives to their original sharpness. This quick process ensures your knives remain effective without the hassle.
Shipping & Delivery
Once your order has been placed and processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. This email will include a tracking number and a link to our tracking page.
Tracking information may not be immediately available after your order is placed. It can take up to 5 days for the number to become active in our system. If you don't see any updates right away, please be patient and check back later.

Once your order is placed, our team will carefully collect your knives from our forge. Please allow up to 72 hours for us to pick and pack your order. All items will be sent when your order is complete.
Your NorthernKnives will then be shipped via USPS, and you can expect to receive them within 5-10 business days. (Shipping times may vary due to potential product safety checks, weather conditions, or high demand.)
As soon as your order is shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to follow your package's journey.

If you're located in America, not a cent! We offer free standard shipping on all orders via USPS.
While we strive for excellence, occasional issues can arise. If your package encounters a delivery issue with USPS, such as being lost or missing, we can initiate an inquiry to track down your package.
If your item is confirmed as lost or stolen, we will promptly send out a replacement. In such cases, your tracking number may update to indicate a ‘delayed’ delivery date.
If your item has not been delivered within 20 business days, please contact us so we can start an investigation with American Post. Rest assured, we will do everything possible to resolve the issue quickly.
Oops! Did you accidentally provide the wrong address for your knives? We can definitely help you with that! If your order has not yet shipped, please send us the new shipping details, and we'll update your address accordingly.
Please note: We can only ship your order to the address provided at the time of ordering. If an incorrect address is given and the package is delivered there, we cannot retrieve it. So, please double-check your address carefully! If your order has already shipped, we won't be able to change your address, and you may need to consider a refund or replacement for your knives.
We do ship to most countries, however, there are a few that we are unable to send to.
Please note that international shipments can take 10 - 14 working days
If you have been waiting for more than 21 days to receive your order, please get in touch with our team to investigate the issue.
Return & Exchanges
Once your order is placed, you have 24 hours to request any changes. If you need to update your shipping address or contact information, please contact our customer service team immediately.
We can only update the address or cancel the order within 24 hours of placing it. After that, the order will be processed and changes will no longer be possible.
We’re sorry to hear you received the wrong item! Please report the issue to our team via email for further assistance.
Make sure to include a photo of the item you received and the name of the missing item(s). Also, check the package for any notes or packing slips that might indicate if the other items were shipped separately.
If there was an error, our team will make sure you receive the correct items as quickly as possible.
If no one was home at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave the package in a safe location.
Be sure to check around your home and with neighbors/building management//local post office who may have collected the package for you.
Also, please double-check the shipping address of your order (in the order confirmation email) to ensure it’s headed to the right location.
On some occasions, packages may be marked as delivered but take additional time to arrive.
If you still are unable to locate the package, please reach out to the carrier.

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours.
Please contact us immediately with the subject line "CANCEL" and we will do our absolute best to assist. If your order has already been dispatched, you’ll need to follow our returns process.
You will receive confirmation of your cancellation if we’re able to make it happen.
After this period, we may not be able to cancel your order as it might already be in processing or shipment.
If you have already received an order confirmation email, it may be impossible to cancel your order. However, you can always request a return or exchange once your order arrives.
We’re sorry your item(s) arrived damaged! Sometimes items can get damaged during shipment, but we’re here to help.
Please email our team with a photo of the damaged item for further assistance. Rest assured, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of and resolve any issues caused by our shipping partners.
Although we do our best, sometimes delivery issues can occur with USPS (such as lost or missing packages). If this happens, we can lodge an inquiry to follow up and investigate what went wrong.
If your item is confirmed as lost or stolen, we’ll send out a replacement immediately. Your tracking number may update to show a 'delayed' delivery date in such cases.
If your package hasn’t been delivered within 20 business days, please contact us so we can launch an investigation with USPS. Rest assured, we’ll do everything we can to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Lost packages
At NorthernKnife, we strive to ensure every order reaches you in perfect condition. In the event that your order is lost during transit, please reach out to our customer support team at [email protected] with your order number and any relevant details.
Damaged packages
We understand the disappointment of receiving a damaged package. In such instances, please report to our customer support team at [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving the order and include photos of the damaged items or package.
We will review the provided documentation and, if necessary, arrange for a replacement or issue a refund.
Yes! Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. After this period, unfortunately, we can no longer offer refunds or exchanges.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging.
Before returning any items, please contact us and provide a photo of the item for documentation purposes. You'll also need a receipt or proof of purchase.
To qualify for a return:
- The return must be initiated and sent back within 30 days of purchase.
- The item was not marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable,” unless faulty.
- The item must be in its original packaging and in perfect condition.

We're working hard to get NorthernKnives processed as quickly as possible! To speed things up, we recommend sending a photo of your post office receipt as proof that your return has been lodged.
Once we have this proof, we can immediately process your exchange or refund. If you forget to grab the receipt, we’ll need to wait until the item arrives at our warehouse before proceeding.
Please note that all return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
We’re sad to see you go! Once your refund has been processed, you’ll receive an email confirmation from us. After that, it typically takes 2-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
